The Livingston school district contains six elementary schools, grades K-5; one middle school for grade 6 and another middle school for grades 7 and 8, and high school. In 1998 Livingston High School received the Blue Ribbon Award, the highest honor that an American school can achieve, from the U.S. Department of Education.
