Fran grew up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and made the transition to suburban life 22 years ago. When she began raising her family, she moved to West Orange for 11 years, lived in the Newstead area in South Orange for 12 years and has recently returned to West Orange. Fran appreciates and understands wanting and having the best of both worlds. She loves the close proximity to the city but enjoys her home on the tree lined streets of West Orange. Her sons attended Montclair Kimberley Academy and the South Orange/Maplewood schools. Her oldest son, Andy lives in NYC working at Tribal Fusion and her son, Coby, was a top singles player for Columbia High School and is in his sophomore year at Hamilton College.
Fran is a graduate of Kenyon College in Gambier Ohio and holds a Masters Degree from Bank Street College of Education. She taught in private and public schools in New York City and suburban Essex County. Her years of teaching, have given Fran excellent listening skills, an ability to anticipate her client's needs and wonderful organizational skills. Uppermost is a desire to find the ideal property to fit each of her client's personal needs for their next home. One of her passions, as a realtor since 2002, is working closely with sellers in preparing their homes for sale. In 2004, she obtained her ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) and has been awarded the NCJAR Circle of Excellence Award for the past few years. She also recently completed a full day seminar on Short Sales and foreclosures.
Fran has many diversified interests which include gardening, book clubs, travel, oil painting, yoga and hikes through So. Mountain Reservation with her rescue dog, Daisy.
